Itinerary:

Sunday, March 10:

·       Afternoon: arrival, hotel check in, lunch, Dominican workout on a local field

o   Live BP

·       Evening: Dinner, daily debrief – Highlight, Hardship, Hope (last night = Hero)

 

Monday, March 11:

·       Morning: Beach workout (20 minutes); breakfast; team fundamental practice with Pembroke Hill (1 hour) at Willy’s field; 2-hour intra-squad game – 4 Dominican players on each team

·       Afternoon: Lunch; 1-hour Dominican practice (Dominican and Pembroke Hill players) followed by a youth clinic

o   Dominican coaches lead 1-hour workout with both teams

·       Evening: Dinner; daily debrief

 

Tuesday, March 12:

·       Morning: Beach workout (20 minutes); breakfast

·       Late Morning: Baseball competitions/games against Dominican team at Ozoria Field

o   In and out on the clock

o   Around-the-horn on the clock

o   HOGS

o   Bunting Game

o   RF Hitting Game

o   Work-Up

·       Afternoon: House painting and candy distribution in sugar cane village near San Pedro de Macoris

·       Evening: Dinner; daily debrief; group 1 restring gloves

 

Wednesday, March 13:

·       Morning: Beach workout (20 minutes); breakfast; 2-hour American-Dominican practice (Dominican and Pembroke Hill players and coaches)

·       Turn in laundry after workout

·       Afternoon: Lunch; Casa Amor orphanage visit and cook out

·       Evening: Daily debrief

 

Thursday, March 14:

·       Morning: Beach workout (20 minutes); breakfast; Speedball: 6 on 6 on 6 with Dominican players in Gautier?

·       Afternoon/Evening: Juan Dolio beach and bachata/dance lessons

·       Evening: Daily debrief; group 2 re-string glove

 

Friday, March 15:

·       Morning: Beach workout (20 minutes); breakfast; team fundamental practice with Pembroke Hill (1 hour)

·       Afternoon: Lunch; Royals Academy clinic (Royals players led) followed by a two-hour game against team from New Hampshire followed by inter-active activities with Royals Academy players

·       Evening: Dinner; Daily debrief

 

Saturday, March 16:

·       Morning: breakfast and pool time

·       Afternoon: lunch at hotel and depart for airport

 

Items to Bring:

·       Passport

·       3 paper copies of passport – hotel will need a copy, player keeps a copy on him throughout the trip, and Coach Diskin will keep a copy

·       Spending money for souvenirs

·       2 pairs gray baseball pants

·       4 practice jerseys (red T-shirts will work; Seniors can wear their blue shirts)

·       Sliders

·       Cup

·       2 pairs baseball socks

·       Belt

·       Red hat

·       Red sleeves (light)

·       Pembroke Hill baseball collared polo – for travel

·       Khaki pants/nice pants/slacks – for travel

·       Pair of jeans

·       1 - 2 pairs of nice shorts

·       1 – 2 pairs of gym shorts

·       Glove

· Bat (metal and wood (only if you have wood))

·       Batting gloves – if used

·       Baseball bag

·       Spikes or cleats or turf shoes

·       Sunglasses

·       Tennis shoes

·       Swim suit

·       Sunscreen

·       Towel (optional)

·       Bag of donation items – can be old baseball equipment, clothes, toys, food items, hygiene products, anything really
